I recently made the switch from a typical multi blade razor to a traditional safety razor. What drove me to make the change was the bigoted political ad portraying the masculinity of a man as being negative. Masculinity is not toxic. A masculine man in my mind is a true gentlemen and if he is not a gentlemen he is not masculine.
My first try at using the safety razor was not very safe. My face looked more like a meat ball. After watching a few shave tutorials and with a little patience I have finally learned the technique. It’s almost like a lost art-form. I couldn’t be happier about making the switch. As a masculine man I feel that my face is baby butt smooth. I get a closer shave with less irritation and it’s something I look forward to each day.
